For direct entry to second year the above requirements must be exceeded, including the following:

SQA Advanced Highers: Advanced Highers to include Maths and one other subject, both at grade A; and Higher Physics, Engineering or Technological Studies at grade B.

GCE A Levels: AAB to include Maths at grade A; and Physics, Engineering or Design and Technology (excluding Food Technology).
